Braves to host 2025 All-Star Game at Truist Park

ARLINGTON—In 2025, Atlanta will host the brightest stars in baseball.

The Braves will host the Midsummer Classic for the third time when Commissioner Rob Manfred announced on Thursday who will host the game and related festivities in 2025.

“I applaud the Atlanta Sports Council, Derek Schiller, Terry McGuirk, and the entire Braves organization for spearheading this effort,” Manfred remarked. “The Braves should host the All-Star Game because they are a role model for success both on and off the field. In 2025, Truist Park and The Battery Atlanta will offer spectators a top-notch experience. We are excited to collaborate with the Braves and neighborhood leaders to create an unforgettable All-Star Week that fosters community spirit and offers numerous advantages to the area.

The All-Star festivities for 2026 will be held at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia in honor of the 250th anniversary of American independence, 50 years after Veterans Stadium hosted the All-Star Game in the year of the country’s bicentennial. Next year’s festivities will take place at Globe Life Field in Arlington.

The 95th Midsummer Classic, which will take place in Atlanta for the first time since Turner Field hosted Derek Jeter’s 2000 Most Valuable Player award, will feature the 2025 All-Star Game. At Atlanta Stadium in 1972, the city hosted its first All-Star Game, which was capped off by a two-run home run by Hank Aaron that contributed to an NL victory.

“We are overjoyed that the Atlanta Braves have been selected for the 2025 All-Star Game by Major League Baseball,” Braves chairman McGuirk stated. “Atlanta has consistently shown itself to be a top-notch location for the most thrilling sporting and entertainment events. I’m thrilled that baseball fans can enjoy everything this area has to offer, including Truist Park and The Battery Atlanta. We are excited to collaborate with MLB in the upcoming months to develop remarkable experiences that will highlight and benefit our community.

The Braves have had a successful regular season and postseason since Truist Park opened in 2017, giving fans plenty of chances to enjoy the stadium and The Battery Atlanta, a sports and entertainment complex adjacent to the ballpark.

Following their 2021 World Series victory, the Braves announced Truist Park as the last destination on their parade. Thousands of fans attended a rally at the stadium.

Special assistant to the Commissioner CC Sabathia stated, “It’s exciting to see what the Braves have built and it should be celebrated.” “They are completely embracing Atlanta’s music and culinary scenes, setting the standard for baseball culture.
