Shocking: NFL Call On Rams Head Coach Apology….

Matthew Stafford was one of the few bright spots in a dark era of Detroit Lions football from 2009-2020. The former first-overall pick put up some pretty impressive numbers on some downright bad Lions teams throughout the decade-plus he was in the Motor City.

Now, he’s set to play in Detroit for the first time in his career, as his Los Angeles Rams will travel to Detroit next weekend for the NFC Wild Card Round.

Los Angeles Rams GM Les Snead makes his opinion known on DC Raheem Morris.

The Los Angeles Rams have just finished their 2023-24 NFL season. Despite getting eliminated by the Detroit Lions in a classic wild card game, many will argue that this was a successful season for the Rams. Defensive coordinator Raheem Morris is seeing the benefits of this.

How is that? Well, Morris is getting head coach consideration for several teams around the league. Now, Rams GM Les Snead made his opinion known on this consideration.

Los Angeles Rams GM Les Snead held a press conference earlier today to address the state of the team at the end of the season. During said press conference, Snead took the time to speak positively about Rams DC Raheem Morris. He said that Morris absolutely deserved an opportunity to be a head coach again in the NFL. Here is one quote from Snead to sum it up:“You just see the respect flow back in his direction. It’s a superpower I think would help any organization.” -Les Snead

Morris has been a head coach in the NFL before. However, he has not gotten another permanent opportunity in 12 years after being the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2009-2011. Now, he has been the defensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Rams since 2021. Morris has 25 years of experience at the college and NFL level.

Teams are recognizing this along with the fact he has captured two Super Bowl titles (XXXVII, LVI). The Carolina Panthers, Washington Commanders, Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Chargers, and Atlanta Falcons all plan to interview him or already have.

The Los Angeles Rams had a surprising playoff appearance after missing out entirely last season. This comes two years after the Rams won Super Bowl LVI. With QB Matthew Stafford likely returning in 2024, the Rams hope to run it back and build off of this playoff appearance.
