Congratulation: General Booty Becomes Higest-Paid NFL Player At $67 Million Per Year After Agreeing To….

Oklahoma State has added a piece for depth in their wide receiver room.

STILLWATER, Okla. — It seems that Oklahoma State wasn’t finished with the transfer portal this cycle after all.

Oklahoma wide receiver transfer Gavin Freeman committed to the Cowboys Sunday morning. He entered the portal earlier this week.

Freeman, an Oklahoma City native, played in all 13 games for the Sooners in 2023, catching 19 balls for 95 yards and a touchdown. In 2022, he had three catches for 46 yards while also carrying the ball seven times for 73 yards and a touchdown.

“I will be entering the transfer portal with 2 years of eligibility remaining,” Freeman said in a tweet on Tuesday. “I wanna thank the University of Oklahoma and the fans for all the support and love.”

Oklahoma State offers 2025 defensive lineman Jordan Covington

Oklahoma State is looking to build up its 2025 defensive class.

STILLWATER, Okla. — As Oklahoma State coaches hit the road this month, they’ve extended some offers to prospects in 2025 and future prospects.

One of those is 2025 defensive lineman Jordan Covington from McKinney High. Defensive coordinator Bryan Nardo and defensive line coach Paul Randolph offered Covington after having success in finding the underrecruited 2024 signee Jonathan Agumadu.

The 6-foot-3 lineman played in 12 games for McKinney in 2023, finishing with 22 tackles, seven tackles for loss, six sacks, two forced fumbles and a pass break up.

Covington has an official visit scheduled with Kansas currently, but is expected to schedule one with the Cowboys now that he has an offer from Oklahoma State.

Currently, Oklahoma State has just one defensive commit in three-star edge defender Kyle Keya from Wichita.
