The Pittsburgh Steelers defense could get a major boost in Week 13 – but will have to wait to find out.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Pittsburgh Steelers could have two starters back on defense for their Week 13 game against the Arizona Cardinals, but one of them will have to wait until the final call.

Both defensive end Montravius Adams and safety Minkah Fitzpatrick returned to practice for the Steelers after missing several weeks. While Fitzpatrick is expected to play against the Cardinals in Week 13, Adams is labeled as questionable.

Adams has been out the last three games due to an ankle ailment. He returned to practice last week in a limited capacity but was unable to participate against the Bengals. He was a full participant for the first two days of practice this week, but was limited on the last day of preparation and is now a game-time decision.

Fitzpatrick has missed four games and is making his first appearance in five weeks. He confirmed to media that he will play against the Cardinals and has been removed off the injury list.

“I’m feeling terrific. “I’m feeling great,” Fitzpatrick added. “A hammy is a hammy, so I might feel it a little, but you have to play sometimes.”
