Georgia Football Injury Report- 11/27
- CB Julian Humphrey (Upper Body) – Questionable “Still week to week, we are trying to get both of those guys back.” Humphrey has earned a larger role in the Georgia defense prior to suffering an upper-body injury in Georgia’s week 11 game against Ole Miss. The sophomore cornerback missed last week’s game against Tennessee and appears likely to miss several more weeks of action.
- TE, Brock Bowers (Ankle) – “Yeah, he was more sore this week than he’s been. He was not able to do much during the week. He tried to go, he wanted to go, but it just, I mean, he’s sore. He’s got to be honest with us and tell us.”
- ILB Jamon Dumas-Johnson (Forearm) – OUT “Still week to week, we are trying to get both of those guys back.Dumas-Johnson.” He has missed Georgia’s last three games against Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Georgia Tech after suffering a fractured forearm in Georgia’s week 10 matchup with Missouri. Smart has declined to offer specifics regarding the preseason All-American’s progress.
- WR Ladd McConkey (Ankle) – Questionable McConkey, who rolled his ankle against Ole Miss in week 11, attempted to play last week against Tennessee but was limited to only a handful of snaps. He did not dress vs Georgia Tech.
- WR Rara Thomas (Foot) – QUESTIONABLE Like McConkey, Thomas attempted to play against Tennessee but was unable to finish the game due to what Smart has described as a foot sprain, he did not dress against Georgia Tech either.
- OL Tate Ratledge (Knee) – QUESTIONABLE Ratledge exited the game against Tennessee a week ago with what Smart described as a “bone bruise” after banging knees with a fellow Georgia lineman. Ratledge was reportedly limping earlier in the week, but Smart indicated that he has improved as the week progresses. He did dress against Georgia Tech and went through warm ups.
- DT Warren Brinson (Calf) – PROBABLE Brinson missed the Tennessee game a week ago after suffering a calf injury against Ole Miss the prior week. After Tuesday’s practice, Smart offered encouraging news regarding Brinson’s availability against Georgia Tech: “Warren took some reps today. I thought he did a good job pushing through.”
