Clemson LB Jeremiah Trotter Jr. Declares for 2024 NFL Draft

Trotter is ready to follow in his dad’s footsteps as an NFL linebacker.

One of the best defensive players in all of college football is making the early jump to the next level.

Clemson linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr. is forfeiting his remaining eligibility at the college level, and plans to declare for the 2024 NFL Draft.

Trotter made his announcement Tuesday morning via social media.

Listed at six feet and 230 pounds, Trotter racked up 88 total tackles (54 solo) for the Tigers this season, adding 15 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, seven pass breakups, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, and one defensive touchdown.

The son of a former Pro Bowl linebacker of the same name, the younger Trotter has a chance to be the first player off the board at his position in next year’s draft.
