Joe Flacco Becomes Most Prolific Passer In Cleveland History
On Thursday Joe Flacco threw for 309 yards and in doing so, notched his fourth straight 300-yard game to set another Browns’ record.
Joe Flacco’s 309-yard explosion on Thursday sketched his name in the Cleveland Record book forever.
The Browns are one of the most storied franchises in the NFL, yet they have never had a passer as prolific as Joe Flacco.
Joe Flacco is the first Cleveland quarterback to ever throw for four straight 300-yard games.
There isn’t much more to be said about what Flacco has done in Cleveland since his first start on December 3rd. Yes, Flacco’s first start was nearly one month ago to the day and so much has changed since then.
When Flacco took over the Browns, there were a ton of questions. Cleveland was trying to hold onto their season amidst all of their injuries, but the outlook was bleak. The Browns lost to the Rams in Flacco’s first start, but everyone left that game saying one thing: Flacco still has it.
In the weeks to come, Flacco has taken over the NFL.
The Browns are on a four-game winning streak and have one of the scariest offenses in all of the NFL.
Amari Cooper has the best game in the NFL with 1,250 yards; David Njoku has become a top-5 tight end in the league; Elijah Moore, Cedrick Tillman, and Marquise Goodwin have all seen roles cemented and Cleveland is rolling.
Flacco has not only caught the attention of everyone in Cleveland, but he has caught the eyes of the national media. Cleveland is now considered to be one of the four or five teams that could make a run at the Super Bowl.
Time will tell if Cleveland has what it takes to make a run, but if they do, it will be due in large part to what Joe Flacco has done under center.
