Sad News: Philadelphia Eagles Payer suffer Knee Surgery” He Now Pass Away…….

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni provided fans a clearer picture of how serious Jalen Hurts’ recent finger injury is, admitting that he was shocked when the quarterback returned in their Week 18 game.

For those who missed it, Hurts had to leave their showdown with the New York Giants last Sunday after he “popped” his right middle finger. Video replays of the incident eventually showed the quarterback’s finger bent awkwardly and looking really nasty.

Hurts was able to return to the game, though Sirianni ended up sitting him and the rest of the starters amid the Giants’ dominant performance.

Still, Sirianni couldn’t believe how Hurts toughed it out to return to the game, sharing that he got goosebumps after seeing the injury and hearing that his QB wanted to continue playing even in such condition.

The Eagles head coach then admitted that he knows the “finger is going to be sore” for some time, indicating how brutal the injury is, per Martin Frank of the Delaware News Journal.

It is also worth noting that both Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts remain unsure if the quarterback will be able to suit up when they play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card round of the playoffs. They are taking it day-to-day for now, which isn’t exactly encouraging considering the circumstances.

Sure enough, Sirianni’s admission about Hurts’ finger potentially being sore for some time doesn’t really fuel optimism with regards to the signal-caller’s playing status.

It’s safe to assume that Hurts won’t allow some pain on his hand hinder their playoff bid. After all, they want to return to the Super Bowl and avenge last year’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Here’s to hoping that Hurts will be able to recover faster, though. In the postseason where there is no room for mistakes, his health could be a major factor in their title quest.
