Sad News: I Think Rams Are Trying To Sacks Their Head Coach Immediately…..

Allen Park — Whenever he decides to call it a career, Aaron Donald will undoubtedly be a first-ballot Hall of Famer. With a strong case to be considered the greatest defensive player of his generation, the Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle continued his dominance in his 10th season, racking up eight sacks and 84 quarterback pressures while facing double-teams at a well-above-average rate.

But an underrated component of Donald’s greatness is the opportunities he creates for his teammates. If you double- or triple-team him, it leaves another defender with a one-on-one matchup. You might remember, the Detroit Lions acquired Michael Brockers after he completed a season with five sacks and 30 quarterback pressures playing next to Donald. Brockers would go on to tally eight pressures the next two seasons with the Lions.
