Sad News: Giants Five stars where rules uot angainst the….

The Miami Hurricanes picked up an absolutely massive victory in the transfer portal on Saturday.

Star quarterback Cam Ward, who had previously announced his intention to enter the NFL Draft rather than join the Canes, has reversed course.

Ward threw for 3,736 yards, 25 touchdowns and seven interceptions for the Washington State Cougars in 2023. Following the season, he announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal.

Ward quickly became one of the top players in the portal. Oregon, Ohio State and Florida State all reportedly pursued him. But it the Hurricanes who quickly rose to the forefront.

But despite Miami treating the Ward family to dinner at Prime 112, a top-tier steakhouse on Ocean Drive in Miami Beach and bringing in rapper Rick Ross as part of the pitch, Ward announced he would go pro instead.

But money talks. And few teams have as much NIL purchasing power as the ‘Canes.

And so Ward is back. He immediately makes Miami a threat in the ACC and is a perfect fit in the system of second-year offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson.

Dawson runs an air-raid system similar to those Ward played in at Washington State and, previously, Incarnate World.

Ward becomes the second quarterback to transfer to the Canes in recent days. Albany quarterback Reese Poffenbarger, who led all FCS signal callers in passing yards, recently announced his intent to transfer to Miami.
