Just Now: Georgia Bulldogs the 2024 list has be announce on the NFL Draft record…
The Missouri Tigers are not messing around this offseason. They are making sure that people know they are coming for the SEC. Former Georgia linebacker Darris Smith announced he is committing to the Tigers in 2024.
According to On3, Smith is the seventh-ranked linebacker in the transfer portal. Smith appeared in five games for the Bulldogs but had a stint where he was not with the team. In his limited time, he recorded three tackles and one tackle for loss. The Tigers now get another top-rated defensive player to add to their team. They are already ranked ninth this season and have high hopes for 2024.
The 2024 schedule is kind to the Tigers at least in terms of SEC standards. A trip to Tuscaloosa to take on the Crimson Tide is the toughest game on the schedule. The Tigers then get a bye week to prepare for Oklahoma coming to town. Outside of those two games, the others seem very winnable. Obviously, anything can happen in college football but the fact they avoid, Ole Miss, Texas, LSU, and Georgia in the regular season is a win.
Can the Missouri Tigers win the SEC? Head coach Eli Drinkwitz is making it hard for people not to take notice.
The Georgia Bulldogs 2023 season came to a close last Saturday when the Dawgs destroyed the Florida State Seminoles by a record-breaking 60 points in the Orange Bowl game but despite the monstrous victory, the Bulldogs’ season ended in somewhat of a disappointment, as the team’s goals for a third-straight national title were not met. For obvious reasons, 2023 will not be nearly as renowned as the Bulldogs’ 21 and 22 seasons. But that does not mean that the year as a whole was a wash. Although Georgia came up empty-handed as far as national championships go, the season was still home to some iconic Bulldog moments. Moments such as Brock Bowers returning to play just weeks after receiving ankle surgery, the Bulldogs’ absolute thrashing of top-10 Ole Miss in Sanford, and of course the team’s incredible come-from-behind victory against Auburn on the road that will live on in Georgia history for a very long time.

(Tony Walsh/UGAAA) But there’s one instance this year that should be viewed as the defining moment of the Bulldogs’ 2023 season. A moment that perfectly encapsulates the type of program that Kirby Smart has built at the University of Georgia. In the modern era of college football, it has become customary for potential NFL Draft picks to sit out for bowl games to minimize the risk of injury and prepare for their professional futures. Many expected nothing different from numerous Bulldog players as they were no longer in the hunt for a national title. However, rather than opting out and not playing in the Orange Bowl, numerous draft-eligible Georgia Bulldogs decided to play in the game and wear the red and black one final time. As a result, the Bulldogs stomped the Seminoles 63-3 in what was the biggest victory in bowl game history. For all purposes, the Georgia Bulldogs’ 2023 season was a letdown from its two previous national championship outings. However, there were numerous instances throughout this season that proved that Kirby Smart has not only built a winning roster at the University of Georgia but has also developed a winning culture that will lead to the team’s success for years to come.
