CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Pete Nance, promoted to the NBA from the Cavs G-League team this week, talked about his elevation to the big time Friday.

Nance averaged 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in 6 games for the Cleveland Charge this season.

He played 4 years of college ball at Northwestern and one at North Carolina.

Pete is now the 3rd member of the Nance family to suit up for the Cavs, following his father Larry and brother Larry Jr.

He signed a 10-day contract and is expected to be in uniform Saturday for the Cavs in Atlanta.

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell had his way with the Milwaukee Bucks defense all night long. Mitchell scored 31 points on 63.2% shooting from the field and also shooting 50% from three-point land in a 135-95 win at home on Wednesday night over the Milwaukee Bucks.

With Mitchell scoring over 30 points in this one, this is the third consecutive game that he scored over that total and Cleveland has won all of those games. The Cavaliers are currently on a six-game winning streak and they last lost against the Toronto Raptors on January 1.

He also grabbed five rebounds, recorded seven assists, and recorded three steals against Milwaukee. Mitchell has played a huge role for Cleveland during this six-game winning streak. He also scored 34 points against the Chicago Bulls on 1/15 and 45 points against the Brooklyn Nets on 1/11.

This has been impressive because they have been winning without Darius Garland and Evan Mobley. The Cleveland Cavaliers are currently the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 24-15 record. They can very well be a top-four seed in the Eastern Conference once again this season because of Mitchell and the rest of the supporting cast stepping up
