TENNESSEE FOOTBALL SCHEDULE: 3 THINGS TO KNOW

Georgia head football coach Kirby Smart discusses team heading into spring | Sports | gwinnettdailypost.com

2024 Tennessee Football Schedule Breakdown: Of course it’s not easy – no SEC schedule is – but considering Alabama and Georgia are on the slate, there’s not a ton to complain about.Dealing with the Bulldogs in Athens is brutal, but that’s followed up by UTEP and at Vanderbilt – that’s how you ease your way out of a regular season. Best of all, the Vols don’t go away from Knoxville for five weeks over the second half of the campaign. However, the SEC schedule starts with road games at Oklahoma and Arkansas, and even though they’re wrapped around a week off, three games in four will be away from home, including …Tennessee Non-Conference Schedule: There are three built-in wins – Chattanooga, Kent State, and UTEP – but those are okay with fourth non-conference game against NC State. The Wolfpack might not take the ACC title. but they’re good enough to be more than just a skirmish in what should be a wee bit of a home game in Charlotte. (That’s a lie – of course Vol fans will find their way to this neutral-site date.)SEC Teams Missed: Auburn, LSU, Missouri, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Texas, Texas A&M

Why Georgia Fans May Want to Cheer For This NFL Team in the Divisional Rounds

The Super Bowl is one of America’s most iconic sporting events and has been home to some of the greatest moments in football history. As the eight remaining teams prepare to do battle in this weekend’s divisional round, fans of the Georgia Bulldogs may be more inclined to cheer for one team in particular. The Baltimore Ravens are set to host the Houston Texans this Saturday as the one-seed in the AFC. The Ravens are led by former Bulldog standout, Roquan Smith who has already accumulated more than 150 tackles this season. In addition to Smith, former Bulldogs Ben Cleveland, and Nick Moore are on the roster as well. The Texans on the other hand currently have no former Bulldogs on the roster.

OPINION: UGA fans should practice better football etiquette | Opinion | redandblack.com

Not only will a Ravens win put Smith one step closer to his first Super Bowl ring. It will also guarantee that the Georgia Bulldogs will be represented in this year’s Super Bowl, as all remaining teams in the AFC have at least one former Bulldog on their roster. For 22 years in a row, at least one former Georgia player has been represented in the Super Bowl with the most recent appearances being the Eagles’ numerous former Bulldogs on their 2022 roster. With a Ravens victory on Saturday, the Bulldogs will be guaranteed a 23rd straight appearance in the big game.
