Sad News: The Match Detroit Lions Vs Buccaneers on Sunday 28 has Suspend due to a player…..

NFL fans have been convinced that Cris Collinsworth took a swipe at the Seattle Seahawks during a live NBC broadcast.

The 64-year-old commentator called the NFL Divisional Round game between the Detroit Lions and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday

Collinsworth partnered with Mike Tirico as the Lions booked their place in next week’s NFC Championship game.

Detroit’s high-powered offense proved too strong for the Bucs as they secured a 31-23 win at Ford Field.

But it was a call from Collinsworth in the third quarter with the scores tied at 10-10 that got fans talking on social media.

The Lions lined up on the one-yard line to attempt a go-ahead touchdown on a 4th-and-goal.

Collinsworth said he was “surprised” that the Lions didn’t simply call a running play to “pound in” the touchdown from the one-yard line.

He cheekily added, “We’ve seen that at a Super Bowl too.”

Fans were quick to pounce on the comment, which seemed to reference the Seahawks’ opting to throw from the one-yard line at Super Bowl XLIX.

Seattle was on the brink of back-to-back titles when they decided to pass rather than run the ball into the endzone on a 2nd-and-goal.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson was famously intercepted by New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler, winning the game for the Pats.

Following Collinsworth’s quip, one fan wrote on X, “Cris Collinsworth takes a not-so-subtle shot at the Seahawks.”

Another said, “Collinsworth did not have to shade us on that 4th down from the one for the #Lions.”

And a third added, “Love that Collinsworth shade at the Seahawks for passing it.”

Craig Reynolds took the crucial 4th-and-goal snap for the Lions, successfully punching in the touchdown on a one-yard run.

Later in the game, Collinsworth criticized Tampa Bay star receiver Mike Evans following a controversial play.

The Lions will now face the San Francisco 49ers next Sunday for a place at Super Bowl LVII.
