Whoops! Kansas City T.V. station inadvertently uses WRONG Ravens logo to promote Chiefs’ AFC Championship game – with Travis Kelce and Co. appearing to play Olathe Northwest Ravens on Sunday!

A local TV station in Kansas City has inadvertently used the wrong Ravens logo to promote this weekend’s AFC Championship game in Baltimore.

According to KMBC 9 in Kansas City, the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Olathe Northwest Ravens at M&T Bank Field on Sunday, as initially reported on X – formerly Twitter – by Farzin Vousoughian.

‘@Chiefs we look forward to the challenge and thank you for the opportunity,’ wrote the high school’s football account in response to the blunder.

Olathe Northwest High School is one of five public high schools in the Olathe USD 233 school district and its mascot is just a singular Raven, as opposed to several of them, like the NFL franchise’s logo.

With a population of more than 130,000 people, Olathe, Kansas, is one of the fastest growing cities in the country, according to the U.S. Census. The community is the state’s fifth largest city and a southwest suburb of the Kansas City metro area.

NFL fans on X were quick to notice KMBC 9’s error, cracking jokes on social media.

‘They don’t stand a chance against yall,’ a user shared, predicting that the Chiefs would fall to Olathe Northwest High School.

‘Ravens parents, we’re gonna have to step up our fundraising!’ tweeted a local. ‘We can’t expect to compete on our current budget.’

‘Does this mean Taylor and shirtless Jason will be at CBAC for the game?’ another shared, referring to Olathe Northwest’s stadium – the College Boulevard Activity Center.

A different fan joke: ‘How are the Chiefs underdogs to Olathe Northwest?? No disrespect to my favorite Ravens!’

Sunday’s game in Baltimore promises to be an exciting one, considering that the league’s most in-form team – the Ravens – will be hosting the Super Bowl reigning champs’ in their own yard.

Baltimore (14-4) has yet to lose since a dead-rubber final regular-season game against the Pittsburgh Steelers (17-10), while Patrick Mahomes just won his first playoff contest on the road against the Buffalo Bills.
