Following the episode of Wilson’s benching by head coach Sean Payton, watching the final two games of the season from the bench, his time in Denver seems to be reaching its end.

Wilson and the Denver as per sources are expected to part ways after a challenging 2023 campaign, Denver began the season 1-5 under Payton but followed up with a five-game win streak.

According to an NFL executive predicted this off season, the Las Vegas Raiders could land Broncos quarterback Wilson. ESPN”s Jeremy Fowler, per an anonymous NFC executive, said on Wilson possibly ending up with the Raiders:”[The Raiders] need a vet, and they are one of Wilson”s original teams he wanted to go to. He”d stay in the [AFC West], West Coast, and [Wilson”s wife] Ciara can do a [Las Vegas] residency [as a live performer].”

After sitting Wilson for the final two games of the 2023 regular season, Fowler also noted that the Broncos are likely to move on from Wilson during the offseason.

The unnamed mentioned, ESPN”s Adam Schefter, reported in 2021 that Wilson had a list of teams he would accept a trade to, including the Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears, New Orleans Saints, and Raiders.

Wilson has won Super Bowl XLVIII with the Seahawks and came up short in Super Bowl XLIX the next year. In overall records, Wilson has 43,653 yards, 334 touchdowns, 106 interruptions, a 64.7% completion percentage, 5,307 rushing yards, and 29 rushing touchdowns.

As the Raiders are expected to be in the quarterback market, they could possibly trade Jimmy Garoppolo, as per rumors. If Wilson is to be released, he”ll be unrestricted and free to negotiate and sign with any team, just like Jimmy G and The Raiders could be one of them.
