Report: Lamar Jackson recieve the team suspension as he bets against….
The Baltimore Ravens host the Kansas City Chiefs at M&T Bank Stadium in the AFC Championship game on Sunday at 2:00 P.M. Central Time.
Baltimore has the best defense in the league. They rank 1st in points, 6th in yards, 6th in passing, 14th in rushing, and 1st in sacks.
He was waived on October 26 but re-signed to their practice squad shortly after.
He was signed to their active roster on January 5.
He appeared in eight games and started one, registering 12 tackles, one for a loss, and two forced fumbles in 18% of defensive snaps.
The first reason Moon was released is because he couldn’t solidify a role in their pass rush rotation.
Their starting EDGE rushers include Jadeveon Clowney and Kyle Van Noy, and their backups consist of Malik Harrison, Odafe Oweh, and Tavius Robinson.
Clowney registered 43 tackles, nine for a loss, 19 quarterback hits, and 9.5 sacks. He represents 57% of defensive snaps.
Van Noy registered 30 tackles, nine for a loss, nine quarterback hits, and nine sacks. He represents 52% of defensive snaps.
Harrison registered 20 tackles and one quarterback hit. He represents 21% of defensive snaps.
Oweh registered 23 tackles, four for a loss, 12 quarterback hits, and five sacks. He represents 50% of defensive snaps.
Robinson registered 26 tackles, two for a loss, one quarterback hit, and one sack. He represents 29% of defensive snaps.
The second reason Moon was released is because they needed to make room for Mark Andrews.
Andrews suffered a serious ankle injury in Week 11 and was placed on injured reserve.
Andrews practiced last week but was not activated when they played the Houston Texans.
Since their roster is full, they needed to release somebody to make room for him to be on their active roster. They ended up releasing Moon.
Jeremiah Moon will likely sign to Baltimore’s practice squad, and they will likely sign him to a reserve/future deal once their season’s over and he will compete for a roster spot next year.
Hopefully, this isn’t the end of Jeremiah Moon’s young career.
