I visited last April and got to watch a practice and see Coach [Kelsey] Pope work with the receivers. He wants to develop his guys, and that’s what I’m looking for in a receiver’s coach,” Pile states. He was also asked who sent him the offer, and he responded, “I was really excited when I talked with Coach [Kody] Cook, and he said he and Coach Pope have been keeping an eye on me and really like my route running and my hands. I was blessed to receive an offer from them.” With the talented Texas athlete being a class of 2026 player, it is important that the Volunteers offered him early on. “It’s a huge deal for me that Tennessee offered. Having them believe in me and want to build a relationship this early means a lot to me,” Pile stated. The skilled prospect was also asked what he believed he could bring to a very successful wide receiver system. “I can run the entire route tree and create separation at the line and down the field. I work with my WR coach, Margin Hooks, every week, and we constantly add to my skills.”

Pile and his family have been fairly familiar with Tennessee for some time. “When I think of Tennessee, I think of big-time football and tradition. My dad was teammates with two great Tennessee players, Jason Witten and Kevin Burnett, so when I was younger, I would always see their jerseys hanging up and hear the stories.” He was also asked about his visit plans with Tennessee and if he had anything in mind. Pile goes on to say, “I will visit this spring. Hopefully, for the spring game.”
