Sad News: Jarrett Allen He Is On A Serious Laft Knee Surgery
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Donovan Mitchell wasn’t aware.
Once he was told about the halftime stat correction that robbed teammate Jarrett Allen of a second quarter rebound and 17th straight double-double, Mitchell painfully sighed and made a suggestion.

This is Mitchell’s fifth-straight NBA All-Star appearance, and his second as a Cavalier. Mitchell becomes the ninth player in franchise history to be selected to the All-Star Game on multiple occasions, joining LeBron James (10), Brad Daugherty (5), Kyrie Irving (4), Mark Price (4), Terrell Brandon (2), Zydrunas Ilgauskas (2), John Johnson (2) and Larry Nance Sr. (2). The voting for reserves was done by NBA head coaches for their respective conferences.
Through 36 games this season, Mitchell is averaging a team-high 28.2 points, a career-high 5.5 rebounds and a career-high 6.4 assists.
Mitchell, who was named the Kia NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Month for January, has scored 20 or more points in 33 of his 36 appearances, four of which were 40-point games.
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Evan Mobley, just back from knee surgery, is out tonight for the Cavs game at Memphis, the second night of a back-to-back.
Mobley’s absence is listed on the NBA injury report as “injury management.”
Mobley scored 8 points in 22 minutes last night in the win over Detroit.
He returned from knee surgery Monday, playing 21 minutes against the Clippers (10 points, 9 rebounds).
