Five-star CB DJ Pickett names his top five schools

Tampa, Florida DJ Pickett, a five-star cornerback for Zephyrhills 247Sports Composite, announced his top five colleges on Friday night. He told 247Sports that only “Georgia, Oregon, Michigan, LSU, and Miami” are on his short list.

“The relationships I have with the coaches at these five schools,” Pickett remarked. “I won’t be going anywhere else for the top five. I will also be making those five visits officially.

On Thursday night, Pickett spoke with 247Sports about his recent travels to Miami, LSU, and Oregon, starting with his arrival back in Coral Gables.

That was good, according to Pickett. In the 2024 cycle, his cousin Booker Pickett Jr., an edge rusher, signed with Miami; according to 247Sports, his haul ranked No. 3 nationally.
