Sad News For Mountaineers As Coach Now Will Now Join Rival Team For A….
Following a 2023 where the team fell just short of Big 12 dominance, the West Virginia Mountaineers only have two players declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft; center Zach Frazier and offensive tackle Doug Nester.
Both Nester and Frazier have used all of their eligibility and are hopeful to get opportunities to play in the league.
With Zach Frazier’s size and durability, I expect him to go surprisingly high in the draft this year. Quite a few teams will be looking to improve their offensive lines (Arizona Cardinals, Washington Commanders, Pittsburgh Steelers, etc.) and this helps Frazier’s draft stock.
The 6-foot-2, 314-pound Mountaineer may start on the bench once he enters the league but I expect Frazier to eventually work his way up to a starting position.
