He possesses a very quick first step and good speed that allows him to quickly penetrate the opponent’s backfield and pressure quarterbacks early into plays. Betts worked out for Detroit in December and also worked out for the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills.

Following the conclusion of their season, the Detroit Lions signed over ten players to reserve/futures deals but Julian Okwara was not one of them. Now, according to the Philadelphia Eagles, they have signed Okwara.
