Hurrison Butker I will Never Play with Chief If Andrew Walter Reid Coach Again… He Announced That
Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo deserves a second chance as a head coach, according to his former boss, after winning a fourth Super Bowl title
Kevin Demoff, the Chief Operating Officer of the Los Angeles Rams, has made a surprising admission as he called for Kansas City Chiefs Steve Spagnuolo to get another shot at being a head coach in the NFL.
Demoff and Spagnuolo worked together when they were both at the St. Louis Rams before the team moved to California in 2016. Spagnuolo was the head coach from 2009-11, but it was a tough time for the team. They lost 38 out of 48 games under his leadership and he was let go after three seasons.
But since then, the 64-year-old has managed to rebuild his career, working with the New Orleans Saints, Baltimore Ravens and New York Giants before joining the Chiefs in 2019. Since he’s been at Arrowhead Stadium, Spagnuolo has helped the team win three Super Bowl titles. The latest victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday capped off what many believe is his best season with the team.
Spagnuolo built one of the strongest defenses in the NFL this season, led by star pass-rusher Chris Jones and a formidable secondary. Many players who have worked with Spagnuolo hold him in the highest regard and agree with Demoff that he should get another chance at being a head coach.

Former Chiefs star Tyreek Hill took to social media after the Super Bowl, asking: “Why don’t Spags got no interviews?” Demoff responded bluntly, admitting he was put in a position to fail and it is now high time for Spagnuolo to be given a shot to be a head coach again.
Demoff said: “It is well past time to see Spags get another head coaching opportunity. The team and organization he inherited in STL was a mess, nobody could have had success. Yet he changed the culture and staff and players believed. An amazing human deserving of the real shot we couldn’t give him.”
Spagnuolo made history on Sunday as the first NFL coordinator to win four Super Bowls, with his trio of triumphs with the Chiefs following glory in 2008, when his Giants defense blunted Tom Brady and the 16-0 New England Patriots. After their Super Bowl win, Kansas City quickly signed him to a new deal on Wednesday.
