Shocking News: Formal Eagles Star Jason Kelce Sign In With Eagles Has Head Coach

The wife of Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce went viral during Super Bowl 58 for her noticeable wardrobe choice. While her husband was wearing a Chiefs gear, Kylie Kelce didn’t and only sported a red jacket without a Kansas City logo on it.

It would have been easy to forgive Kylie had she worn a Chiefs gear. After all, they were there to support Jason’s brother and her brother-in-law in Travis Kelce. But Kylie just couldn’t.

Kylie Kelce’s Philadelphia Eagles Reason for Not Wearing Kansas City Chiefs Gear

Of course the reason for Kylie’s continued refusal to wear another team’s gear is simple: she loves the Eagles too much. And while she can support a family member for playing for another team, she won’t go as far to wear another team’s gear.

“To be clear, I am an Eagles fan to the extent of like, if Jason ever went and played for another team, I would wear Kelce [but] I would not wear another team’s stuff. Like I’ve thought about that a number of times, where, like, I just, I couldn’t do it,” Kylie shared.

“It sounds terrible. Travis was in the playoffs one year and the Eagles were not. And so we went to a playoff game in Kansas City, and I was like, ‘Do I have to?’ But Trav knows that. I always want Travis to be successful. Obviously I always want Jason to be successful. But I’m not going to be out here doing the Chiefs chop, whatever, that tomahawk thing. No.”

It’s understandable where Kylie is coming from though. Aside from the fact that her partner is playing for the Eagles, she herself is also born and raised in Philly. So the Eagles are in her blood.

For what it’s worth, Jason Kelce also previously explained why his wife didn’t wear a Kansas City Chiefs attire during Super Bowl 58.

The Philadelphia Eagles star pointed out in a recent episode of their New Heights podcast that Kylie Kelce simply has too much love for the Eagles.

“Kylie got some love from the Philadelphia fans for her continued refusal to wear Chiefs gear, even though she has personal connections. She just does not want to do it,” Jason shared, as transcribed by Today.

For his part, Travis expressed his understanding, saying: “Don’t you f**k around with my fandom over the birds. I respect it, Ky. I appreciate you even wearing red. You could have worn something neutral and just showed your support — you showing up was enough for me, so I appreciate it.”

Sure enough, it’s just awesome to see Kylie staying true to her love for Philly.
