Vote ‘frozen embryo’ for Alabama Supreme Court
Let’s replace the entire Alabama Supreme Court with frozen embryos. Including chief justice, there are a total of five justice seats up for election this year. All nine justices are Republicans.
The current chief justice is Tom Parker, and he is – thank God and the law – precluded from running for another term. The 72-year-old Parker has aged out, since state laws mandate that an over 70-year-old cannot run for a judge-y position.
The primary election is right around the corner. Grab a pencil and mark March 5 on your calendar, go to the polls and write in the frozen embryo of your choice for all of these seats. Let’s stock the Alabama Supreme Court with much, much younger “people.”
“The people of Alabama, he said, decided all this was public policy.
