Detroit Lions players give Coach Dan Campbell an A+ but give the team ownership a B-, according to a survey conducted by the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA).

The results are as follows:The Detroit Lions ranked 13th overall in our player survey, with a notable mention of head coach Dan Campbell’s high grade. The players clearly enjoy working for him, with respondents calling out his willingness to listen to their locker room. The Lions hired a new training staff this offseason, and the players noted in the responses that they could feel the improvement at the workplace and received significantly more individualized care this season compared to last season.

The food program is another area that players noted improvement from last year, with players noting that the food tastes better and fresher. Despite the improvements, players responded that they still hope to see another jump going into next year, as food service remains the number one issue players would like to see upgraded.We first saw this survey on LionsWire.

Dan Campbell — A+The Lions players give high ratings to Dan Campbell, making him the third highest-ranked head coach in the NFL. 91% of players feel the coach is efficient with their time (16th overall).

The players feel that Dan Campbell is very willing to listen to the locker room (3rd overall)

Ownership — B-

Club owner Sheila Ford Hamp receives a rating of 8.1/10 from Lions players when considering her willingness to invest in the facilities (21st overall)

Food/Cafeteria — CThey rank 17th overall in food taste

They rank 17th overall in food freshness

The majority of returning players feel that this category saw improvement from last year

Players mention better freshness, healthier options, better taste, higher quality and great work from staff

Training Room — B90% of players feel they have enough full-time trainers (16th overall)

83% of players feel they have enough full-time physical therapists (17th overall)

88% of players feel they have enough hot tub space (15th overall)

90% of players feel they have enough cold tub space (15th overall)

Some players feel the team could use at least one more physical therapist on staff

Team Travel — B85% of the players feel like they have a comfortable amount of personal space during flights (13th overall)
