Sad News: Vikings QB Set To Announced A Departure To……

The Minnesota Vikings are no longer in favor of having quarterback Kirk Cousins next season. Since the Atlanta Falcons rumors have crossed the NFL free agency with finding a new quarterback for their franchise. They are pursuing a talented quarterback with experience and talent. Kirk Cousins has played for the Vikings for the past 6 seasons. Last season, Cousins threw for 2,331 yards, 18 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. It came to a halt after a season ending injury to his Achilles in week 8. He is now a free agent at the end of this month and it is favored that he can possibly move to Atlanta.

According to Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio, Cousins is considering and open to moving his family to Atlanta. The Falcons are in desperate need of a quarterback following a disappointing season last year.  Their owner Arthur Banks has mentioned that he is looking for a quarterback for the franchise for the 2024 season and beyond.

The Atlanta Falcons have Weapons for Kirk Cousins

The Falcons have some star studs on their roster that can help Cousins and the team to win games and be favors in the NFC South. They have tough Divisional opponents with the New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers. With Cousins at QB they can be contenders again in the division.

If signed, Cousins will have throwing options to Drake London, Kyle Pitts and Bijan Robinson on the offensive side a the ball. With his experience and these talented players they can be a very good offensive team.

As free agency coming to a beginning in the NFL there are other teams that may appear in the hopes of landing the four-time Pro-Bowler. Cousins is Draft Kings favorite to land in Atlanta and be their starting quarterback come week 1 of the NFL 2024 season.
