A Terrible Sad News: San Francisco 49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Say He Will Never Coach 49ers Again Till The Team….
Eight-year veteran pass rusher Leonard Floyd signed a new contract with the San Francisco 49ers. Floyd, a former first-round pick, spent the 2023 season with the Buffalo Bills but has also played for the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams.
After three years in Los Angeles, Leonard Floyd signed a one-year contract to play for the Buffalo Bills in 2023. This signing proved to be a good match for both player and team, as Floyd finished the season with 10.5 sacks, 32 tackles, nine tackles-for-loss, and 19 quarterback hits.
Leonard Floyd originally entered the league as a first-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Selected by the Chicago Bears, the Georgia product made an immediate impact. Starting and appearing in 12 games, the rookie finished his inaugural season with seven sacks, 33 tackles, six tackles-for-loss, and nine quarterback hits.
The pass rusher maintained his starting role for the next three years, but he failed to recapture his rookie magic in Chicago. After four years with the Bears, Leonard Floyd signed a new contract with the Los Angeles Rams. The change of scenery made all the difference for Floyd, as his finished the season with 10.5 sacks, 55 tackles, 12 tackles-for-loss, and 19 quarterback hits.
Floyd proved that his 2020 wasn’t a one-year fluke in the following season. Starting and appearing in 17 games, the edge defender finished the season with 9.5 sacks, 70 tackles, seven tackles-for-loss, and 18 quarterback hits while helping the team win the Super Bowl.
Leonard Floyd remained productive during his final year with the Los Angeles Rams. Starting in all 17 games, the former first-round pick finished the season with nine sacks, 59 tackles, 10 tackles-for-loss, and 22 quarterback hits. Despite his strong play, the Rams suffered the dreaded Super Bowl hangover, missing the playoffs in a lost season.
Since signing his rookie contract, Leonard Floyd has recorded 58 sacks, 370 tackles, 63 tackles-for-loss, and 122 quarterback hits in 121 games.
After suffering a close loss at Super Bowl LVIII, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy found joy again by marrying his sweetheart Jenna Brandt.
The couple tied the knot in a ceremony attended by over 350 well-wishers in Des Moines, Iowa, on Saturday. NFL star Purdy looked dapper in a classic tux, while bride Brandt wowed in a white gown with her hair styled in an updo.
Their photo session was just as heartwarming, capturing moments outside their wedding church and with Brock’s pals. Their romance story began while studying at Iowa State University and they announced their engagement in July 2023, with Brock gushing: “My Jenna girl forever. I can’t wait to be your husband. Here’s to forever babe. I love you JB!”
Jenna has been a rock for Brock during his 49ers games. “Always cheering you on, babes,” she wrote alongside a photo of the pair at Levi’s Stadium in California in 2023.

Brock’s college friend Blake Clark also made it to the wedding. Clark is the brother of basketball ace Caitlin and was also once backup quarterback during Brocks triumphant run at Iowa State, where he notched up more wins than any other quarterback in history.
“So Blake Clark is a great friend of mine, he’s going to be at my wedding,” Purdy said in the buildup to Super Bowl LVIII. “He’s the man, yeah I love him, he was one of my best friends for four years at Iowa State. Caitlin, I wasn’t around as much but obviously just through Blake. We’d always watch her and what a baller she was from day one.
“Obviously, from high school, we knew she was gonna be a game-changer. So, to see her now absolutely killing it, I couldn’t be happier for her.”
Sharing some more kind words about the NCAA’s all-time leading points scorer’s brother Purdy continued: “I think just the grit. The competitive nature that he has. When you watch it, it makes you want to play, it makes you want to play your sport well. So, when you see her out there getting her teammates fired up and stuff like that, it reminds you of when you’re out on the field playing and your willingness to win.”
Much like Clark, Purdy wants to write his name into the history books next season when the 49ers will try to win the Super Bowl once again.
In his first appearance in the championship game, the quarterback was seconds away from lifting the Vince Lombardi Trophy for the first time. But a superb pass from Patrick Mahomes to find Mecole Hardman Jr in overtime broke Niners hearts and gave the Kansas City Chiefs their second successive Super Bowl title.
