Unbelievable: Browns Coach Kevin Stefanski Said Choosing Cleveland Browns Was The Biggest Mistake He Has Ever Made….

We got three deals announced today for the Cleveland Browns in Maurice Hurst, Devin Bush & Corey Bojorquez. Two were deals that always felt they would get done based on how Hurst and Bojorquez played last year. Then they added Bush after Takitaki signed a decent contract for the Patriots, Bush is a former first round pick that Andrew Berry loves to take a flier on and see what he can get.

Reports: Browns to Sign RB D’Onta Foreman

According to a report, the Cleveland Browns are signing free agent running back D’Onta Foreman.

The Cleveland Browns are planning to add another running back to their roster as first reported by Jordan Schultz of BleacherReport. D’Onta Foreman is expected to sign with the Browns, which would be his fifth team in the NFL.

Foreman spent last season with the Chicago Bears, appearing in nine games. The soon to be 28-year old running back rushed for 425 yards on 109 carries with the Bears, scoring a combined five touchdowns. The last game Foreman appeared in with the Bears was against the Browns. He didn’t fare well, rushing six times for -6 yards. Foreman was drafted out of the University of Texas in the third round of the 2017 draft by the Houston Texans, but has also played for the Tennessee Titans and Carolina Panthers.

Foreman would the second back signed by the Browns this offseason, joining Nyheim Hines. While Hines is known for his speed and play in space, Foreman is a bigger back at over 230 pounds. He averaged 3.9 yards per attempt this past season in Chicago, but 2.75 yards after contact according to PFF.

It takes a few days once an extension is signed for the information to get to sites like Over The Cap for me to report on it. I never take too much notice of the initial reports including ‘up to’ as these come from the agent’s side, and they regularly inflate the numbers using unlikely-to-be-earned incentives and others as they want to use them to attract future clients. It gives you a good steer for what the deal is likely to be, but you won’t see me write on the numbers until we get everything official. Sometimes this can take a few days, you won’t see me write on deals until I have the official breakdown.

Cleveland Browns general manager Andrew Berry wasted little time extending Jerry Jeudy’s contract with the team.

Jeudy’s $58 million deal, with $41 million guaranteed, raised some eyebrows around the NFL.

This is especially true in Denver, whose fans believe Jeudy underperformed in his first four seasons.

Speaking with his sidekick, Anthony Lima, Carman predicted few will make much of Jeudy’s money down the road.

He believes the deal will seem fair if Jeudy solidifies himself as a factor in the Browns’ offens

Jeudy’s $58 million deal, with $41 million guaranteed, raised some eyebrows around the NFL.

This is especially true in Denver, whose fans believe Jeudy underperformed in his first four seasons.

Ken Carman of 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland explained why the extension isn’t as big a deal as some are making it (via 92.3 The Fan on Twitter).

Speaking with his sidekick, Anthony Lima, Carman predicted few will make much of Jeudy’s money down the road.

He believes the deal will seem fair if Jeudy solidifies himself as a factor in the Browns’ offense.

When details of the contract come out, Cleveland will wind up paying Jeudy the going rate for a good WR2.

And if Jeudy steps up to become the Browns’ No. 1 receiver in 2025, his contract will be a bargain.

Carman further explains what he thinks will happen if Jeudy flops in Cleveland.

Failure on Jeudy’s part most likely indicates that Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson came up short as well.

That would steer the focus of critics’ wrath on Berry and Watson’s mammoth contract.

Lima and Carman agree that Berry locked up the appropriate receiver from the Browns’ pending 2025 free agents.

Although Cleveland receiver Amari Cooper is the undisputed top dawg for next season, he’s on the wrong side of 30, and his contract expires in 2025.
