“Vous êtes le pire entraîneur que j’ai jamais rencontré” Star Player dissipare le directeur sportif de l’ASM Clermont Auvergne
Vincent Koch believes Edinburgh boss Sean Everitt will be highly motivated when his side take on the Sharks in their United Rugby Championship (URC) encounter in Durban on Saturday.
It will be a homecoming for Everitt, who is set to return to his old stomping ground, Kings Park, where he was the Sharks’ head coach between 2020 and 2022 before resigning following several poor results in the URC.
After leaving the Sharks, Everitt spent some time at the Bulls, where he worked as a consultant during their 2023 Curie Cup campaign, before taking over the coaching reins at Edinburgh last July.
And Springbok tighthead prop Koch, who made his Sharks debut last Saturday in their 22-12 victory over Ulster at Kings Park, feels Everitt will “try to prove a point” against his former team.
Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) and Krungthai Bank (KTB) have allocated provisions for potential loan losses related to Italian-Thai Development Plc (ITD), aligning with the asset quality of one of the country’s leading contractors.
SCB established provisions for potential loan losses concerning ITD at an appropriate level, based on a forward-looking expected credit loss (ECL) framework, said Arthid Nanthawithaya, chief executive of SCB X, a holding company of SCB, at a shareholder meeting last Friday.
The bank is not classifying the corporate customer as a non-performing loan (NPL), he said.
“Given our robust risk management, SCB is well-prepared to manage the loan quality of the customer in accordance with the situation. The customer is still categorised as a normal loan, so there is no need for additional provisions,” said Mr Arthid.

He said SCB established a substantial loan loss reserve to prepare for heightened economic uncertainties and unforeseen circumstances. This existing reserve encompasses the credit risk associated with both individual and commercial loans.
ASM Clermont Auvergne head coach Franck Azema praised a clinical performance from his side as they cemented their place at the top of European Rugby Champions Cup Pool 5.
A double from Nick Abendanon and further tries from Camille Lopez and Isaiah Toeava earned a 38-19 triumph over Ulster to stretch their advantage to eight points.
Clermont led 21-0 at the break over the Irish and secured the bonus-point just one minute after half-time from outside-half Lopez. Ulster threatened a comeback, and came close to snatching a losing bonus-point only for a penalty try at the death quashed their hopes of a consolation. And Azema was pleased with his teams’ class and composure, as they overturned the loss to Ulster in round three.
He said: “In the first period, we showed good game management and a good defence. In the second, there were 10 minutes which were a little more difficult, but in front of us there was a team that put us 39 points last week.
“It is important to have stopped them, we took over the ball in the last 10 minutes. Mathematically, it’s not done, but we’re on track. It is great to see the players take pleasure on the field, both in attack and defence.”
Azema also hailed the raucous atmosphere at the Stade Marcel Michelin, as a record 18,739 fans turned out to watch the crucial Pool 5 encounter.
“It is a great pleasure to feel this communion with the public,” said Azema. “We feel that there is a whole region that strongly gets behind us. It’s rare to see an atmosphere like this. It was a beautiful evening.”
Clermont will travel across France to Bordeaux-Begles for round five of matches, before welcoming the Exeter Chiefs to the Blue & Yellow arena, knowing a brace of wins will all but secure their place in the knockout stages.
