Top247news: Georgia commits, targets landed With Elite Outstanding…..

On Wednesday, 247Sports released its initial version of the Top247 rankings for the Class of 2026.

Georgia had a major influence on the rankings, whether that be commits/targets or prospects from the Peach State. That included Georgia’s only 2026 commit firmly in the top 10 of the national rankings.

In this article, we take a look at where Georgia’s top commits and targets ranked in the Top247 launch for the rising junior class.

Keep in mind: Georgia’s targets list will grow substantially in the coming months. There are several players — especially along the offensive line and defensive line — who weren’t included in this article because they’re not viewed yet as significant Georgia targets. As we know, that can quickly change this time of year as coaches get out on the road to do evaluations.

Let’s take a look at the initial rankings and Georgia’s role in that.

It may seem like the 2024 season is still a long ways away, but the Georgia Bulldogs are slowly but surely grinding through the offseason. The Bulldogs hit an important milestone just over a week ago when they capped off spring practice with their annual G-Day game.

Georgia’s 15 spring practices gave us a better sense of where things stack up for the team as it prepares for the 2024 season, which will begin on Aug. 31 with a game against Clemson in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium. After projecting the depth chart for the offense and the defense earlier this offseason, I’ve taken another look at how things stack up and updated how things are shaping up going into the rest of spring and into the summer.

Please keep in mind that these depth charts will not include summer enrollees. The depth charts have been updated to remove portal departures and will be updated if additional players either leave or join the Bulldogs going forward.
