Arkansas offensive lineman Paris Patterson First To Enter transfer portal 2025 Next Season…..

Arkansas second-year offensive lineman Paris Patterson is set to enter the transfer portal, according to 247Sports national analyst Matt Zenitz. Patterson is the fifth Razorback player to announce intentions to enter the portal during the spring transfer window.

Patterson committed to the Razorbacks in the 2023 recruiting cycle as a three-star prospect and No. 40 interior offensive lineman in the country. He was rated as the No. 8 overall player in the state of Illinois for the 2023 class. He chose Arkansas over a scholarship offer list including Tennessee, LSU, Iowa State, Nebraska and Kansas among others.

Last season, Patterson saw very limited action with the Razorbacks and ultimately redshirted. The 6-6, 352-pound redshirt freshman spent the majority of Arkansas football’s 2024 spring practice as the third-team guard.

SCOUTING REPORT FROM ALLEN TRIEU

Has experience at multiple positions on the line, but most likely projects as a power guard in college. Massive, strong, has a big punch and looks to finish blocks and dominate opponents. Has a solid pass set and strength makes him tough to get past. Good natural athlete who must make sure he maintains a good playing weight to keep his feet and agility. Shows the ability to get to the second level when asked to do that. Has the size, strength and technical prowess to become a starting quality Power Five guard.
