Several past undrafted free agents had significant roles on the Rams in 2023, including linebacker Christian Rozeboom, edge rusher Michael Hoecht, defensive end Jonah Williams, and left tackle A.J. Jackson.
Any of these players could have starting roles in the future, although most won’t be on the team after this year and the main goal here is to make the practice squad and hang on long enough to find a way like Rozeboom did.
After signing with the LA Rams earlier this week, former Philadelphia Eagles RB Boston Scott has posted an emotional goodbye letter on social media.
A big part of the NFL experience has to do with players coming and going. Whether it’s free agency or a trade that shakes up the roster, football enthusiasts know that their favorite player could leave town at any given moment. That’s what Philadelphia Eagles fans experienced when long-time running back Boston Scott left town to join the LA Rams on a one-year deal earlier this week.
Scott, 29, has been with the Eagles since he was signed off the New Orleans Saints’ practice squad as a rookie in 2018. While he was never the best rusher throughout his time in Philly, he was a fan favorite until the end and his presence will be missed both on the gridiron and off the field.
Scott meant a lot to the team, city, and fans and it’s clear that the feeling is mutual based on his latest social media post.
Eagles News: Boston Scott Posts Goodbye Letter
Scott took to X (formerly Twitter) to post an emotional goodbye letter to the city of Philadelphia. The former 2018 sixth-rounder begins his message by thanking God for “using a nobody like me to inspire” other football players who may faced an uphill battle to reach their dreams.
