“He drills jumpers off catch and pull. And if you give him any space within 25-feet of the rim, he’s letting it fly. On the EYBL last summer, Mobley hit 56 of 135 (41.5 percent) shots from 3 in 23 games played, averaging 2.4 makes on 5.9 attempts a game.”

Several other Big Ten signees were included in the list of Superlatives. Rutgers signee Ace Bailey (No. 2 overall ranking) was listed as The Prototype. EASTER CONTINUES TO SHINE
Toledo native and La Lumiere (Ind.) 2025 guard Jerry Easter has been one of the top performers on the Nike EYBL through the first two weekends.

Playing for Team Final, the 6-3 Easter has averaged 20.2 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists in his first six games. He has hit 57 percent of his shots (40 of 70). Here were comments on Easter from the Miami (Fla.) 247Sports site:

“Easter, a top target for Miami, was just 4 of 16 from the floor in an 85-77 overtime loss to Vegas Elite, but he made 17 of 20 from the free-throw line and finished with 25 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and one steal,” the site wrote. “Easter puts so much pressure on opposing guards and help defense in defending drives and trying to keep him away from the paint, but he has a high motor and quick burst that makes it difficult. His shots were not falling like they normally do, but he kept his team in the game by getting to the line and sinking his free throws.”

Easter was a MaxPreps third-team Junior All-American pick this past season. He helped lead the Lakers (23-5) earn the No. 9 spot in the National Top 10, averaging 18.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists per game. He was the fourth-leading scorer in Nike EYBL Scholastic play, putting up 18.2 points per contest

He is ranked as the nation’s No. 20 prospect overall, No. 6 shooting guard and No. 3 overall in Indiana for 2025, according to 247Sports.com. He has over 20 offers, including Georgia Tech, Michigan State, Ohio State, Michigan and many others.
