REPORT- Rams-Welcome-Fans-Favorite-Player-To-The-Team

The Los Angeles Rams continue to be disrespected when it comes to the most-recent NFL power rankings

Sean McVay and the Los Angeles Rams are coming off a surprising playoff appearance. Quarterback Matthew Stafford returned to pre-injury form. Skill-position talent such as running back Kyren Williams as well as wide receivers Cooper Kupp and then-rookie Puka Nacua did their thing.

On the defensive side of the ball, youngsters stepped into prominent roles. General manager Les Snead hit homers with the selections of defensive linemen Byron Young and Kobie Turner.

There really is no reason to believe that the Rams will take a step back in 2024. In fact, there is a decent chance that they’ll be able to compete with the mighty San Francisco 49ers in the NFC West this coming season.

Despite all of that, the Rams continue to be disrespected by the national media. These latest NFL power rankings are just the latest example.

FanDuel Places Los Angeles Rams 11th In Latest NFL Power Rankings

Per the online oddsmaker FanDuel, Los Angeles comes in behind several teams that have major question marks. That includes the Cincinnati Bengals (sixth), Green Bay Packers (seventh), Philadelphia Eagles (eighth), Dallas Cowboys (ninth) and Buffalo Bills (10th).

Here is a look at the full top 11.

Kansas City Chiefs
San Francisco 49ers
Baltimore Ravens
Detroit Lions
Houston Texans
Cincinnati Bengals
Green Bay Packers
Philadelphia Eagles
Dallas Cowboys
Buffalo Bills
Los Angeles Rams
In particular, having the Cowboys and Bills ahead of Los Angeles seems to be a bit ridiculous. Dallas lost several core players in NFL free agency and was among the least-active teams when it came to adding to its roster earlier in the spring.

The ‘Boys are slated to have a minimum of seven new starters on the two sides of the ball this coming season. Ezekiel Elliott returns after replacing Pro Bowl running back Tony Pollard. There are major questions behind CeeDee Lamb at wide receiver.

Defensively, former Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Eric Kendricks will be asked to be the play caller under new defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer. There are a ton of moving parts on that side of the ball.

As for the Bills, they shockingly traded Pro Bowl wide receiver Stefon Diggs and are asking rookie Keon Coleman to replace him. Meanwhile, the Bills have three new starters in the defensive secondary.

It seems pretty clear that some are discounting what the Rams have done this offseason while ignoring some major issues relating to teams ranked ahead of them.

Los Angeles upgraded its offensive line with the addition of stud guard Jonah Jackson. It has more depth at running back behind Williams after selecting former Michigan star Blake Corum in the 2024 NFL Draft.

On defense, the Rams have a new pair of starting corners in that of Tre’Davious White and Darious Williams. They also added stud safety Kamren Curl from the Washington Commanders in NFL free agency.

We’re not ready to say Los Angeles is going to compete with San Francisco in the NFC West. But having this squad as sixth-best team in the NFC makes no sense.
