VINCENT PULE FROM ORLANDO PIRATES TO SUPERSPORT UNITED
The news dominated online platforms in recent weeks. The Sea Robbers surprisingly part ways with Vincent Pule, 32. According to SABC Sport’s Mazola Molefe, the Qwa-Qwa-born Pule is signing for United after completing his medical test.

“SABC Sport can reveal winger Vincent Pule is on the verge of putting pen to paper with his new club following his Orlando Pirates departure,” the report said. “The 32-year-old is understood to have completed his medical at SuperSport United and will move to the next step and discuss personal terms as he looks for a fresh chapter that includes reuniting with coach Gavin Hunt,” Mazola added.

Orlando Pirates have confirmed the club’s Technical Director (TD), Stanley “Screamer” Tshabalala, has passed away.

The club known as the Sea Robbers announced that Shabalala died on Thursday. The news follows after the Technical Director shot during a break-in at this home in March.

“The Tshabalala and Orlando Pirates Family is announcing the sad and untimely passing of Stanley Tshabalala this afternoon in hospital. Bra Stan, as he was affectionately referred to by everybody, succumbed to the injuries he suffered when he was shot in March this year.

“The Tshabalala and Orlando Pirates Family will furnish the details in due course. The public is advised to await the provision of the details for the arrangements going forward.”

Futhermore, the club has since revealed that Tshabalala will be buried in Pimville, Soweto in Thursday 18 July.

“The Tshabalala and Orlando Pirates Family is announcing that Stanley “Screamer” Tshabalala will be laid to rest on Thursday 18 July 2024. The funeral service will commence at 09h00 at Grace Bible Church in Pimville, Soweto.

“The procession will depart from Grace Bible Church to Westpark Cemetery where the burial service will be held. After the burial, the procession will return to Grace bible Church for refreshments.”
